DR. REBECCA WOOD, DC
Dr. Rebecca is originally from Illinois, born and raised in the Chicagoland suburbs. Throughout her childhood and early adulthood, she suffered from headaches, allergies, anxiety, and debilitating menstrual pain. She treated her symptoms with prescription medications but they did little to ease her discomfort or prevent any recurrences.
A 2011 graduate of Aurora University, with a B.A. in psychology, Dr. Rebecca worked as a chiropractic technician in Schaumburg, IL. While doing so, she gained a new found understanding of the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
She was adjusted regularly, attended monthly chiropractic seminars, and witnessed many incredible health transformations while she worked as a chiropractic technician. And, within months of receiving her own chiropractic care, she noticed she had fewer headaches, fewer allergy symptoms and she experienced significantly fewer bouts of anxiety. Indeed, her debilitating menstrual pain decreased, as well!
With her health restored, Dr. Rebecca was inspired to pursue a chiropractic career in order to impact the community and share the benefits of holistic health!
In June 2018, Dr. Rebecca graduated from Life University- Marrieta, GA, the largest chiropractic school in the country. A board-certified chiropractor, she is also specially certified in Webster’s technique, which reduces the effects of subluxation and/or SI joint dysfunction. As a result, neuro-biomechanical function in the sacral/pelvic region is improved.
Dr. Rebecca enjoys hiking and cooking,
“What I love the most about chiropractic is that it EMPOWERS the individual.”
